Christmas arrived a little early to Our Southern Table last week.  The UPS guy dropped a box off on our front porch which I excitedly opened!

Inside I found three fun harlequin patterned plates that I had admired a while back, a gift from Manuela at A Cultivated Nest.

I have known Manuela through blogging for several years now, and will treasure these fun plates.  If you haven’t met Manuela, check out her blog …. from DIY to frugal tips for daily living she is such a positive role model and always has something great going on!

Hopefully Audley will hang these in my dining room while I am away this week!

Speaking of which, wedding week has begun!  While Samantha takes her college finals, my Momma and I will do a lot of shopping today for the big event, paint the branches for the buffet centerpiece white, and start making the peanut butter cups & peppermint bark for Saturday.  There is so much to do, but the “to-do” lists are made and it’ll be fine.
